Nice day

Had some great weather in Fallon today. We got the dirt bikes out and the family together. We had some great company with some new friends.

Valentines Day

Brody found these at Walmart I think they are so cute. Brody started making monkey noises when we were in the isle at Walmart. I am going to drop them off at school for Gabriel and Lacey. I love my kids and husband. Happy Valentines day.

Still alive

It has been a really long time since I wrote on my blog. We are all still alive and doing good. We should be closing on our house in about a week. Gabriel is playing basketball. Daddy just started his new job still for the state but working with physical and mental disabilities. Lacey is doing much better in school and Brody is as cute as ever.

Fallon Youth Bike Tour

Fall Youth Bike Tour was a success. The was my first big event that I have put together as the President of the Churchill County Cyclists. I was very happy with the attendance, we had over 80 riders. I had a great time and I know my husband, friends and kids did too. I learned a few thing that I will do better on next time but overall an great event.

Mother's Day 2012

Happy Mother's Day everyone. My husband and children wanted me to have a bike ride for Mothers Day. They cleaned up the kitchen and pushed me out the door practically to enjoy my Mother's Day Present. At first I wanted to be lazy, but then I realized I ate all of the chocolate that was given to me for a Mother's Day gift at church today.

My children made the cutest cards for me at church today I took a picture of them so you could try and see them. My kids filled out questions about me, they know me pretty good except that they think I am over 30 feet tall.

A Few New Experience

So I meant to take a video or a picture but it is hard to take them of myself. I am always game for new things and so last week I decided I would have Gabriel my son teach me how to ride a rippstick. At first I was about to give up after my first few try's thinking their is now way I am going to be able to do this. Gabe then gave me a few more pointers and after many attempts later I was able to start going a little. I knew that it would be really fun if I could just learn how to do it. I even had one good crash where I landed on the cement. But all in all it was a great time and my son was thrilled with me.

I went cloths shopping also last week. I have surely been shopping before but this was the first time I have ever been cloths shopping that I actually felt skinning. I have been overweight my whole life until now so this is a really big deal for me. I still have 10 more pounds to go to hit my goal weight of 136 lbs but I am really close.

My First Piano Recitals

So Monday and Tuesday I had my first piano recitals as a piano teacher. I have about 36 students so I decided to divide them into two days so the recital wouldn't be so long. It was a good thing I did because families are so busy (which one or the other days usually worked out for them but not both) I am so proud of all my students. I really enjoyed hearing them all play. I think their parents were very proud as well. I had them all bow or curtsy after their performance. It was the cutest thing ever. My son Gabriel performed on the second night. This is the link to his performance. I am so proud of him, He learned this song in a couple weeks. He is getting really good at reading music.
